MLB Productions has been putting things out since the 70s (starting with This Week in Baseball, which was the longest running syndicated sports show for a while), I feel like it mostly has to do with what you have access to that you feel is better. I don't have NFL Network, so I really haven't seen anything from NFL Films, but I have MLB Network so I've seen tons of great baseball documentaries, mostly during the offseason. I think the biggest difference is in baseball season there's baseball on literally every day, sometimes for 14+ hours, so there's less need to be showing documentaries, while the NFL only has games 3 days a week, with two of those days only having 3-4 hours worth of game, so there's a lot more time to fill with NFL programming like NFL Films puts out.
Donor challenge:Your donation will be matched 2-to-1 right now. Your $5 gift becomes $15!Dear Internet Archive Community,I’ll get right to it: please support the Internet Archive today. Right now, we have a 2-to-1 Matching Gift Campaign, so you can triple your impact, but time is running out! Most can’t afford to give, but we hope you can.
The average donation is $45. If everyone reading this chips in just $5, we can keep this website going for free, and free of ads. That's right, all we need is the price of a paperback book to sustain a non-profit website the whole world depends on. For 23 years this has been my dream: for a generation of learners who turn to their screens for answers, I want to put the very best information at their fingertips.
We stand with Wikipedians, librarians and creators to make sure there is enduring access to the world’s most trustworthy knowledge. We’re dedicated to reader privacy so we never track you.
We don’t accept ads. But we still need to pay for servers and staff. The Internet Archive is a bargain, but we need your help. If you find our site useful, we ask you humbly, please chip in. Thank you.— Brewster Kahle, Founder, Internet Archive.

Already knowing the outcome of the few Bosox games here did not deter my enjoyment of these old broadcasts. I remembered who won, but not the final score. As others have mentioned I would really appreciate more uploads.

I wish I was able to contribute, but I have no games in my OTR collection.Pick out your favorite team and relax for awhile. Hint: these games are much faster than today's broadcasts, also the announcers have time to spin a few interesting stories about players and teams in their broadcasts. They don't spend every half-inming dealing with drop-in ads.
